Porsche Design Titanium Carbine Timepiece

Hate something, change something. In 1972, F.A Porsche developed the Chronograph I. Iconic as its inspiration, the Porsche 911, this watch first in the world featuring a black dial matching the car's dashboard. But the black color was susceptible to scratches. Thinking about solving this problem, Porsche Design has developed a new technology: Titanium Carbide. As a result, the dark color is no longer aa painted cover, but the soul of the timepiece.

GP ICE RACE 2023 Timepiece Special Edition

– Ferdi Porsche, with his adventurous spirit, has taken over his grandfather's project: the GP ICE RACE in Zell am See/Austria. A wintery race featuring the most impressive and surreal cars in the world. Participating in the creative development of this event's project is the dream of every child who is a motorsport fan. Among Porsches 550 Spyder, vintage/modern Bulgattis, DeLoreans, F1 cars and vintage airplanes, we launched the exclusive and limited timepiece that marks the partnership between Porsche Design and Ferdi Porsche. The images and video you are about to see, are part of the content strategy for the timepiece launch.
